Post 01 Introduction

 Hello Classmates, 


My name is Clint Wilson, I live in sunny San Diego, CA and I work in aircraft maintenance. I started working on my degree when I completed High School but life changed and I had to set it aside for a host of reasons. All these years later, I have some time to complete what I started. 2 classes left!

I have a blended family, I have 2 kids and my wife has 2 kids. The youngest is 24 and serves in the Air Force, the oldest just turned 30 and lives in Cleveland, OH. The two kids in the middle are the same age and actually born 1 day apart in the same year. One is my Daughter and the other is my Wife's Son, my step-son. My Daughter lives in Oklahoma City and my Step-son lives in Fayetteville, AR. As you can tell, we are spread out all over the USA. 


I am looking forward to getting to know each of you over the next 7 weeks. Good luck and speak with you soon.

    Thanks for the introduction, and welcome to the class. My son just spent three years in San Diego with the Navy, and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the city. It's beautiful. I especially remember some delightful days at Balboa Park.

Post 4: Rhetoric about Rhetorical

 Laura Bolin Carroll says it like this, "The more we know about how to analyze situations and draw informed conclusions, the better we can become about making savvy judgments about the people, situations and media we encounter." (Carroll, 45) Imagine working as a professional where people rely upon you to do your job so well that they trust and count upon you for the most precious times of life. The birth of a child, attending a graduation or wedding, taking a long time planned vacation or saving the life of someone special, aviation does all these. It is a relatively small amount of professional who devote their careers to this amazing industry.  So many options for such a small community of professionals, line service, flight attendant, dispatcher, gate agent, operations manager, engineer, designer, pilot and mechanic, all work like a well oiled machine to make the everyday flight have exceptional results.  What started as a hobby is now a very rewarding career.  H...
